Adam and I have started an original Egyptian-styled fantasy story. 
Well, mostly Egyptian. It doesn't stick with real history or anything, but I've based the kingdom off of Egyptian culture and whatnot. It's fictional and fantasy.
This is the Princess of the Sun Kingdom, Nemankhanems ("imparting life into her skin") or Aurera. Her tattoos in this aren't official. I'm just not entirely sure about them yet. I liked the scale tattoo down her back -- like a snake -- but some of the others like that sun one are bugging me. Too bad you don't see much of her chest in this one; I know what I want that one to be. xD But yea, she is named for her design; she has many tattoos and will be getting more as the story goes on.
I won't say too much here, but I do put a heavy play on the "we're descended from gods" thing the Egyptian royalty used to have. She and her family just might be. ;D
I'm not sure where I went to go with this yet, because of being caught up on her design...so we'll see how long this takes me.
